What Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage, often called lymphatic drainage massage or MLD, uses gentle, rhythmic movements of the skin to encourage lymphatic fluid movement. The touch is much lighter than relaxation massage. It does not involve the firm muscle work used in deep tissue or therapeutic massage.
At The Reset Room in Melbourne, FL, I use Vodder-style techniques in a private, one-on-one session. I’m Rick, a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist with ACOLS-certified training in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage. We’ll discuss what brings you in and whether this service fits your needs before the session begins.
Who MLD May Be Good For
Manual Lymphatic Drainage may be a good fit if you prefer very light touch, experience temporary swelling or a feeling of heaviness, or simply want gentle support for normal lymphatic fluid movement. Some clients also seek MLD after certain procedures once they have been cleared by their medical provider. Rather than working deeply into the muscles, the goal is to encourage fluid movement through slow, rhythmic techniques while providing a calm, restorative experience.

We Start With a Conversation
We’ll discuss your goals, relevant health history, and any areas of concern. Please mention recent procedures or medical care so we can determine whether a session is appropriate.
Very Light, Rhythmic Work
Expect a slow, gentle approach using light skin movements. This is lymphatic-focused care, rather than the firm pressure or muscle work of a deep tissue massage.
Comfort and Communication
You’ll have privacy to get comfortable and professional draping throughout. Tell me whenever you want your position adjusted or would like to pause.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is 90 minutes for $125. A 50% deposit is collected when you book, with the remaining balance due at your visit.

Yes. The 5-session MLD Reset Program is $575 ($115 per session), saving $50 compared with five individual sessions. The 10-session program is $1,100 ($110 per session), saving $150. You can also book an individual 90-minute session for $125 without committing to a package.
You’ll have privacy to get comfortable, and professional draping is used throughout. We’ll discuss which areas are included, and you can ask to skip an area or pause at any point.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside that window are subject to a 50% fee. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full payment upfront.
